It was informed that I had to take my mid-term exams dated 11 October 2019 in the school campus itself. Previously I had attempted all the exams and passed them without any problem. However, I was unable to show up for the exam because of some family issues. I sincerely apologize for not showing up for the exams, if it would not have been such a critical condition then I would have surely appeared for the exams because I had studied for all the papers.
I was not having any thoughts of dropping the papers but the situations appeared in such a way that I had no other option, other than dropping the paper. On 9th of October, my mother was travelling to her aunt through her car, but while travelling somebody got bumped into her due to which her car got crashed in midway. After the incident happened, I went there to pick her up and drop her to her aunt. This incident happened on 9th end of the day and we reached to our destination on 10th October. As it was a case of Accident and the car was insured under my name due to which I had to go to the insurance company for the claim and register a report against the other party as well. Resulting in which, my whole day was wasted in this matter due to which I was unable to get back in town on time (Hanks, Marples and Wall 2016, 81).
I had prepared for the exams and wanted to give my mid-term with good marks but the situation that occurred to me was unexpected and accidental as well. On one hand, it was important for me to give the exams while on the other hand, it was also crucial for me to go and help my mother when she was in need. This situation was unforeseen due to which I was unable to respond or contact any person to let them know about the case. Till the end of the day, I was sure that I would reach to the school on time and would be able to give the exams but I was stuck at a place far away from the town due to which I was unable to reach to the location (Purpur and Shao 2016, 670-678).
I am extremely sorry for not showing up for the paper but I was stuck in the position where I was not having any chance other than dropping the paper. I hope that you will understand and will grace me average marks so that I can pass in my mid-terms. I’ve explained the complete incident to you and there was no other option for me in that situation. Kindly allow me passing marks so that I can get an overall passing score in my final exams. I assure you that such situation will not happen again.
