Reflection

I thought that the sources will show that the media showed HIV/AIDS in a regressive way, but it turned out they made functional contribution in raising awareness. It came out to be a surprising element from the annotations. I want to know more about the contribution of media in portrayal of the condition.

This bibliography has helped me get valuable insights into the topic and encouraged what factors to I need to research more. For example, as per my focus on the past, I majorly used sources to understand media representation of the disease in the 1980s and 1990s. I will now focus on chronologically moving forward to recent time to understand the modern presentation of the disease on media.

I am concerned about whether the representations during the first decades of the epidemic were proper in comparison to modern representation. Also, I want to know what the changes in representation are.
