1. Introduction
Having a proper insight to one self acts important as this helps in proper analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of oneself. This analysis of strengths and weaknesses helps in proper understanding of the standpoint of the individual in the organization one will be working in.
2. My Capabilities
The capabilities that are present in the section are namely cultural awareness, Numeracy, working in a busy team, responsibility, having initiative of the problem solving, time management, communicational awareness and customer service communication processing. These are the skill set that are discussed in the process. The habits that are considered in this section are namely conveying needs, being punctual, being a regular reader, striving for excellence, management of money, developing a good schedule, develop a proper study habit.
2a. My Professional Dashboard
As per the professional dashboard, it can be stated that I have a proper skill set in the customer service communication process. Commercial awareness is also another very good aspect that can be considered as a positive factor in the skill set that I possess. Another aspect that is to be considered is that I am good in performing the time management process. Problem solving is another aspect that is to be performed. Taking the responsibilities in the proper completion of the project can be done. However the main issue that is present in my skill set is that I am not prone in working with a busy team. Numeracy have also been my weakness. Cultural awareness is also absent and hence this might be affecting the operational process of the business operation. The habits that I possess in positive is that I have always been striving for excellence in any kind of activity. Managing money wisely have also been a positive trait in my habit that I can identify. Never give up attitude have helped me in my work process ever since and I have achieved heights in my career which I have never expected but due to this never give up attitude eventually I have achieved the same. Managing the work schedule have been my positive aspect always. The most beneficial habit that I poses according to me is that I have been recently developing a good study habit that have helped in growing in a constant basis and the facts that were unknown to me were properly assessed and eliminated with proper education. However analysis section have been a major challenge. Having a positive attitude have also been a positive aspect that is considered in this case. Willingness to learn have been one of the most important aspect that is considered as a positive attitude. Being realistic have been another aspect that is to be considered. Getting accustomed to a proper schedule have been a benefit as well. Having the willingness to learn is also another positive attitude that I feel I possess. Having high self esteem is also another strength that can be considered in the attitude of mine.
2b. My Capabilities – Analysis
In the capability analysis the aspects that are to be considered are namely being structured, attaining external decision, working with others, physical stimulus, being a global/ serialist, working under high pressure and VAK.
It can be stated that as per my own assessment I can state that I would prefer in working in a project organizational structure. As per the external decision is concerned, it has never been a problem for me. Again as per working with others, I have been properly working with other team members and hence wise this will be benefitting the working process in the chosen business organization. As the entire working process is a team work, hence it can be stated that this quality will be highly beneficial. It can be stated that I am moderate in controlling the physical stimulus. This section ensures that the acts that I perform have been performing in a better manner. Being a serialist have not been an issue. I have analysed that I have been average in being serialist. Handling pressure is am attribute that I possess and hence wise this will be benefitting the operational process. It can be stated that proper assessment of the business management can be performed. Visual, Auditory and Kinaesthetic have also been affecting the entire working process as well.
3. My Industry Requirements and Trends
3a. My Industry Dashboard
The industry dashboard is emphasises on the organization name. Industry challenges are also stated in the Industry dashboard. The different job roles that are present in the sections are also well stated in the industry dashboard. The top 5 organizations in which I desire to work is also stated in the industry dashboard. Another aspect that is considered is that technical skills that are required for succeeding the project. Transferrable skills are also well stated in the industry dashboard. Employment challenge is also stated in the industry dashboard. As per the industrial dashboard includes the fact that the industrial growth areas. As per my thought process the main aspect that is considered is that increasing the domain of the sales have been a major growth area. Implementing ERP in every single branch. Expanding the number of the branches in the organization have been one of the major growth area. Industrial challenge that is faced in this cases are namely delivering of the products. Understanding the needs of the clients have been the major challenge that is present in the processing of the operational process. Emerging roles that are present in the organization are namely data analyst, trend analyst and area manager. The top organizations that I wish to work in are namely Walmart, Louis Vuitton, Amazon, Alibaba and Lifestyle.
3b. My Industry Requirements and Trends – Analysis
The industry requirement that is considered in this case are namely technical skills and transferrable skills. Among the technical skills the main aspect that is considered is namely understanding database, Understand data analysis and know the software operations of R and SPSS.
The transferrable skills that are to be considered in this process is namely communication skill, proper listening skill and marketing skill. These are the skill set that will be required.
The employment challenge that is faced in this process is namely having excess pressure (work load), over timing and meeting the target of sales in a regular manner.
4. My Gap Analysis
4a. My Gap Analysis Table
From the gap analysis table the main aspect that is considered in the process is namely data analysis, marketing skills, communication skills and time management skill. In this process rating have been provided by me in the initial stage. In the data analysis section, the score that have been provided have been 2. However while working in the industry it was found that I was performing data analysis in a proper manner. Hence wise the score that was provided to me was 4. It can be stated that the gap that was present in the situation was -2. Hence it can be stated that the entire process of data analysis is performed in a better manner. Initially I was rating myself 4 in the marketing skills. However while working in market, I found that I was suffering in a performing marketing. I was given 2 in the marketing score. Hence there was a gap of 2 point. In the communication skill I rated myself as 5, however in the industry section I was provided with 2 and hence there was a gap of 3 is seen. In time management I had given myself 5, however due to poor performance the score that I had was 4.
4b. My Gap Analysis
From the analysis section, it can be stated that I need to work extremely hard in the time management section. This time management section ensures that the entire process is performed in a manner that the schedule is maintained and the operational process is not hampered. Communication skill is another aspect where I need to work on. This will be benefitting the operational process. Marketing skills are also to be bettered as there is a slight gap of 2. Data analysis is the sole section where as per the industry rating I feel that I have performed in an efficient manner.
5. Conclusion
As per the discussion, I have performed the professional dashboard. This section ensures that it will be having a better assessment of myself. This also helped me in understanding the strength and weaknesses which when mitigated will be benefitting my operational process in corporate sector.
