The ability to work in a team is highly important in order to conduct the work which are impossible to be done individually.  Schein (2015), states the fact that the tea working can be considered a process which brings the people together  which further leads  the organization to acquire its goals.  The aim of the essay is to understand the importance of the team work. This will be conducted through the use of the Schein theory.

It is being stated by Edgar schein that the organizational culture can be defined as the philosophies and the beliefs of an organization.  It is being further stated by the author Schein (2017) that according to Edar Schein  it is the culture of the place of work which helps  in describing the way in which the individuals communicate with one another and perform in a certain way with the other members of the organization.  People tends to work in team because of both the functional as well as because of the psychological reasons.  The theory helps in suggesting the fact that working n the team helps in conducting the complex work which will be highly difficult for an individual to conduct.   In this context, it can be further stated that it helps in creativity (Schein 2019).  The theory suggest that working in team helps in gaining various opinions which further helps in solving the problems.   It further leads to the co-ordination of the mechanism which leads to the integration of the varying parts of the organization.  Through the interpretation of the theory, it can further be stated that it leads to the common understanding of the mission and the values of the organization.

The psychological reason for the purpose of conducting a team work is that it helps in the fulfilment of the social needs like the friendship.  On the other hand, it even leads to the development of one’s identify and even self-esteem (Coghlan 2020).  Additionally, it can be said that it helps in the reduction of feelings, anxiety and even insecurity.
