Internal Memorandum: 899078

 1.0      Benefits of Networking.

Networking leads to an increase in business. This is made possible through the sharing of ideas and information. Networking will also lead to referrals which will, in turn, lead to an increase in customers.

Networking enables new opportunities to be shared and important connections to be made and the sharing of contacts. By networking with the agencies attached to this memo, the legal center can get advice on matters that it is not conversant with. For example, the center does not deal with Conveyancing issues. On the list is a contact of a conveyancing firm which can be very helpful when there is a need.

Networking allows a business to be known and the profile of the organization strengthened. Networking can act as a means of advertising the business. By dealing with the agencies attached below the centre will be able to have a good reputation thereby leading to more leads and referrals.

Networking helps in the formation of valuable friendships. Instead of the businesses competing with each other, they will be complimenting each other.

            2.0    Improving relationships and communication

The collaboration of different organizations is very important, especially if they are dealing in the same field or industry. Partnerships between organizations need to cooperate. The starting point of cooperation is the ability to effectively communicate with each other. A communication structure should, therefore, be set to make the relationship (Gil,2015). Communication between the agencies should be official and not informal. This is through official mail, using registered business phone numbers and fax.

The center needs to approach each agency; differently, this is because different agencies have different norms and cultures when it comes to communication. The risks and benefits ought to be weighed (Dawkins,2005). The best and most effective mode of communication should be established for different agencies.

A way of reaching out could be inviting them to attend meetings or expressing interest in attending their meetings. An example is where an agency is going for community outreach; our organization could tag along.

3.0    Relevant legislation, regulations or codes of practice that govern communication

The general norms of the ethics of business communication ought to be followed by the center. Information should be conveyed in a manner that the intended recipient is not offended. Information should be accurate and free from errors (Fayad,2014). The value systems should be maintained, for

instance, vulgar words should not be used. The communication should be professional, accurate, concise and straight to the point. Every communication out of the center could be verified by top management to avoid problems.

4.0   How to widen the firm’s network field

The future of marketing is online. Numerous studies carried out indicate that social media is the next best thing when it comes to marketing. The firm could invest in its social media platforms to reach more people. The firm can undertake public awareness activities such as carrying out legal clinics where members of the public are given free legal advice. Collaborating more with other agencies and attending networking events is also a way to widen networks. In conclusion, the directory below is very important in ensuring the firm is adequately exposed to the relevant players in the legal industry.
