Project Team Organization Chart

 

            This report will act as a guide and reference during the development, testing, production phase of the project as it will clearly define the deliverables expected out on the completion of the project. This will help in clarity of deliverables expected from different teams and departments.

 

Activity Definitions

The various activities have been explained below:

a)      Backing up the Data: During this phase all the existing information of the employees, payroll, and other details will be backed up in case there is any error during the project.

b)      Removal of Redundancy: During this phase the redundant data will be removed as this can further lead to error in later stages.

c)      Planning: In this phase the programmers will understand the business needs from various departments and analyze the practicality of the requirements and documenting the final deliverables expected once the system is implemented, i.e. inter department job requirements, payroll, remuneration visibility, training options, etc. Also this will be helpful in defining the user interface.

d)     Designing & Development Phase: In this phase the design of the final HRIS will be worked upon. This will require approval of all the stakeholders i.e. HR, Finance, Marketing etc for the final design approval. The role of Project manager will be of utmost importance as he will negotiate the design ability of HRIS.

e)      Testing Phase: In this Phase the various testing including A testing, B testing, Black Box Testing, Integration Testing will be performed. The primary data will be provided for this process.As the testing will be an exhaustive process members from the different departments i.e. Finance, Marketing, Hr& Manufacturing will be asked to perform the testing with the testing team. They will be given the necessary access to the system. The findings of the team will be forwarded to the project team coordinator who will then coordinate with the development team to fix the bugs.

f)       Production phase: Once the final testing is completed, the project will be partially open for the employees to work upon and will be integrated into all the systems only after the user acceptance test.

g)      User Acceptance Test: This is done post implementation to validate the correct working of the project. If there are any bugs found or if management wants some more changes to made then they will be completed during this phase.

h)      Go Live Phase:  The final HRIS will be implemented across the organization replacing the older payroll system.
