  1. Team working is one of the core skills for employability. According to Schein (1980), teams form for both functional and psychological reasons. Write an essay discussing the functional and psychological reasons according to Schein theory. (This question will test your essay writing and paraphrasing skills.)

Edgar Schein is a respected scholar who has perfected the region’s market leadership. According to him, in order to become employable, certain attributes are quite important, the most crucial of which is the ability to work in a team. A culture is important not just for functional issues, but also for psychological aspects (Darling 2017). Team work is important as we talk about realistic issues, when both tasks, positions, acts are connected to each other and in a case, even though a single member is unable to adequately perform his job obligation, the consequences will be met by all. It is also rather important to collaborate and function collectively in order to attain the aims and objectives. The first point we should remember when looking at psychological variables is that when we see other people working together, it helps us to perform more, so we should infer that this is the result of peer strengthening, which suggests that teams can be used to promote healthy competitiveness (Coghlan 2018). Sometimes, a single person cannot accomplish all of his own objectives in order to attain those goals efficiently and effectively, joint actions are needed in the same direction, which can only be accomplished with the aid of coordination. Therefore, one of the key qualities is to be employable, offering features that promote coordination.
