Communication among individuals is known to be one of the major factors that influence the regular activities that are undertaken in the social contexts. The following paper attempts a reflection on the issues that are related to the interpersonal communication that has been taking place among individuals.

Non-verbal communication refers to the communication that have been taking place among individuals without the help of the normal communication methods like words and speeches. The interactions involving the non-verbal modes of communication tends to have been dealing in the communication using the voice qualities as well as the body language of the communicator. Individuals who have been dealing in the non-verbal communication need to observe the gestural as well as the other forms of non-verbal communication as well (Burgoon, Guerrero, and Floyd). Non-verbal communication as have been observed among individuals is considered to be relational in nature. The non-verbal communication within the organization is known to have been dealing in the matters that provide a certain piece of communication with the needed amount of support with the help of the gestural communication as well. The study on the nature of non-verbal communication reveals the fact that these communicational modes tend to have been presenting a substitute to the speech and the other formal communication modes as well (Mehrabian). The individuals tend to demonstrate a proper use of the non-verbal modes of communication for the conveying of the emotions required for supporting the given communication. The major ways in which the non-verbal communication is maintained among individuals refer to the implementation of eye contacts.

The study had also helped in the understanding of the importance of the vocal cues as have been highlighted in the case of the non-verbal modes of communication as well. Vocal cues play a major role in the understanding of the issues as have been highlighted through the spoken communication as well. The use of these vocal cues tends to help in communicating the emotions that are highlighted in this scenario (Eaves and Leathers). The vocal cues as are implemented within the communicational matters help in the understanding of the clarity that is highlighted through the messages that are being conveyed by the concerned individual. The other mode of the non-verbal communication as have been maintained within the organization refers to the use of the haptic communication. The use of the haptic communication among individuals tend to have been emphasizing on the issues that are related to the increase in the personalization of the communicational measures (Remland). The inclusion of the proxemics as maintained within the communicational procedures tend to have been dealing in the matters like the physical position of the communicating parties. This in turn further assists in highlighting the smoothness of the given communication without the usage of speeches.

Thus, in conclusion it can be stated that the non-verbal communication is necessary for the proper conduction of the communication among the parties involved. The study on the nature of non-verbal communication reveals these communicational modes present a substitute to formal communication modes.
