Some of the issues and challenges which can be faced by British Petroleum while implementing Corporate Social responsibility(CSR) can be inform of limited role of the United kingdom’s government, changing perception of customers towards British Petroleum globally, increasing pressures from British Petroleum’s investors, policies related to Labor Market in United Kingdom, issues based on transparency of Accounts, narrow perception, less availability of required resources and low availability of consensus(Corey Billington 2008). In context of expanding business, British Petroleum it needs to maintain a strong ethical brand image in UK. Since CSR is considered as an important tool which can help in improving performance of British Petroleum on financial and non financial aspects(The Robert Gorden University 2005). It is being noticed by British Petroleum that implementation of CRS will help in growing financial resources, increase loyalty of customers, reduce interruption from UK government, promote diversity at workplace, decrease liability, and maintain the quality standards (International Institute for Sustainable Development 2013).

The question related to this Research Proposal is whether stakeholders are meeting their expectations in form of CSR activities being implemented by British Petroleum at United Kingdom.

6. Research Design and Data collection
The research strategy and data collection method with respect to challenges and implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility at British Petroleum is being explained below.
i.) Research Design:- Primary Research strategy is being applied for collecting the hidden information at British Petroleum related to challenges and implementation process of Corporate Social Responsibility. The survey method is being use for collecting response from several focused groups by mailing questionnaire to customers, employees, investors and business partners. The questionnaires are being designed by Human Resource department of British Petroleum by using simple language. The scales being used for collecting data are nominal and likert scale. Nominal scale helps in collecting response in Yes OR No format (Pham Duc Hieu 2011). The likert scale helps to measure response of the respondents according to degree of agreement (The Market Research Society 2009).
ii).Data collection
Among 1000 of population who belong to several categories such as consumer, employees, investors and non governmental agencies, fifty respondents have been chosen as sample for filling up the questionnaire. The will be evaluated for generating the desired result. The software’s such as SPSS have been used for collecting and analyzing the response of respondent in effective manner. They have been selected from several sections of society such as consumer group, governmental organizations, employees of British Petroleum, and non-governmental organizations (TSL Education Ltd 2013). The research designing process took around 1 month and 15 days are being allotted to the respondents for filling up questionnaire which have been mailed to them. They can fill up questionnaire and submit is by mail with the given time frame else they will not be consider as the part of research. This research is being carried on at United Kingdom for British Petroleum. This process will help in generating effective output which can help in producing effective result.
7. Methodology Rationale
The proposed methods have been chosen to check the aims and hypothesis being se in this research proposal. This research questions will give fair ideas related to implementation and overcoming challenges related to Corporate Social Responsibility. The data is being collected in form of questionnaire is being represented in form of charts and bar graphs.
