Ancient Egyptian formed the great classical civilizations, and there was great use of the wooden items and toys with moving parts. Tutankhamu, Chairs, Stools, Beds, Headrests, and Tables are related to the Egyptian furniture style. 1570 B.C to 1085 B.C is the new kingdom period, it witnesses effective development and progress of wonderful cities and there are many supportive evidence present and supporting to greater woodworking skill in Egyptian culture (Furniture Styles: 2012).

Ancient woodworking and furniture decorative techniques in Egypt, Greece, and Rome are still understandable, recognisable to the modern techniques, and material. The three decorative techniques famous and popular in the ancient time are
Wood panelling- The technique was used in the ancient time around 3000 BC, used to overcome the problem of the size of a piece of wood.
Woodturning- it is the basic decorative techniques used about 2000 BC. This art includes woodturning involve as large superimposed globes, shallow receding, gentle convexities, wave moulding, and twisting (Furniture Styles: 2012).
Bentwood Furniture – this technique is used by heating or moisturizing the furniture as it was invented in the unknown time but supposed to practice in the ancient Egypt.

Chair making in the time was popular profession, this is linked to present profession and management of different types of chairs making activities, and these are still related to the manufacturing of chair, cabinet stores, and wooden beds.

    Queen Anne style is related to the British architecture either with the English Baroque architectural style. It was developed throughout the time of Queen Anne ruled during 1702 to 1714 and become widespread for the period of the last quarter of the 19th century and early decade of the 20th century. Thomas Chippendale created the Chippendale furniture design; he was a famous cabinetmaker from London. The much-desired Chippendale style was famous with a vision to combine multiple design culture, and this style grew rapidly from 1750-1780 in England and American colonies. The furniture style in the Chippendale style was an extension of the Queen Anne furniture style. The Chippendale style has French, Gothic, and Chinese influences and Anne Style uses the non-gothic revival culture.
