Introduction –Aim or Back ground of elevator

Þ Elevator doors: An Elevator door refers to one of the most common feature of an elevator. It helps in order to protect the rider from falling inside the shaft. Mostly, two panels are used which meet in the middle. Sometimes, the elevators use one slab door i.e. a single panel which could be opened left, right or laterally.
Þ Machine Room less elevators: The second configuration while designing the elevator is to fir in a shaft consisting of a small cabinet also known as the elevator controller. There are various benefits attached in using such type of an elevator i.e. it does not use oil, creates more space, operates with faster speed, uses approximately 70%-80% less energy as compared to the normal elevators, cost effective, etc.
Þ General controls: The modern elevators would comprise of the various controls which would help in the smooth functioning of the elevator. Some of the general controls which shall be included while designing the lift are guardrails, fair space to in, electric fans, call buttons to choose the floor, air conditioning in order to add to the comfort levels, etc. An overload sensor shall also be included within the elevator. This would prevent in the overloading of the lift. Lastly, a stop switch along with an alarm button shall be possessed.
Þ External controls: Some of the external controls which shall be added while designing the elevators would be an up & down buttons which would guide the elevators to move accordingly. The key switches shall be installed on each & every floor. This would help in order to control the elevators from outside.
Þ The elevator algorithm: Elevator algorithm refers to software which shall be installed within the lift. This would help the elevator to decide at which floor to stop.3 or so concepts-
