Experience one 

SBE Portfolio Week Two  

In our group we brainstormed ideas for the SBE. In our group in the beginning were to quiet and kind of shy but after while the group start to share ideas and give opportunity to others who are still quiet. In the beginning I was kind of confusing because I placed in different group and different culture style so I wasn’t familiar with the group. I didn’t say much about my idea but one of the members she kept asking me to get more information about my idea.  After that I really enjoy my time because I found my group so friendly.

Everything well good expect some of the members they didn’t participate even they didn’t give their opinions about the ideas we shared.

My actions I was writing down some ideas and asking some questions to get the right information about the ideas we were talk about it also I was thinking maybe in this way the other members they will not be shy and maybe they will participate in the future.

 

 

Experiences 2

Making discussion

 

In our group we had a conversation,we discussed the products so everyone in the group gave their ideas. We then got together with the other groups to share ideas and opinions. Each group was trying to give clear and useful information about their ideas and make a decision on which idea we should go with. In the end the three groups decided to go with the shooting competition and there are energy drinks on the other side.

After that when we finished our conversation about the product we talked about the group proposal. Now each group have decided to do separate proposals so maybe in the end we will share it or just go with our own group proposal.

As a group we have started to do our proposal but we have not yet completed it. Maybe we will meet in the library on Monday or another day during this week.

For myself I had a lot of experience from this group discussion also it did give me an opportunity to talk with other classmates and explain that I felt shy to talk to them and share my opinion and ideas now I feel that I have abit more confidence about group discussions.

 

Experiences 3

Anther group discussion 

Today also in my group we did discuss the products because some of the group members they were not sure about it some of them they said its shooting competition and the other said shooting competition with energy drinks some of then they said sport drinks so we were kind of confusing because some of the members they were already start their report  so again we discuss the product and give clear information about it  and we did make sure everyone got the idea . we did  create group meeting and sharing ideas on the Facebook  so in this cause we are closer to each other and we can ask or help our group members.

For the group proposal in this week we decide to do one group proposal and after that share it but I did ask the lecturer and I got some information that we cannot do one group proposal for the three table so she said we can get the group proposal but each table has to do one or the same proposal and add some information to it. After this big discussed we did watch a DVD about plagiarism.

For myself in this lecture I did better than before.

 

Experiences 4

 The leadership

In week six we had talked about some stuff for our SBE one of them the business plan. The lecturer did tell us about the test and what it consists of so we had an idea about what kind of question we will get in the test.

There are three types of the Leadership style

Authoritarian

Democratic

Laissez- faire

 

The style of the leadership is to impose polices and procedures, decides what aims are to be achieved and control all the activities without any active participation by the subordinates

The leadership style of the democratic is very openable and collective style of leading a team. Everyone has a chance to give there ideas on discussion table and the ideas will move freely around the group. The key to this style is communication – seeking the opinions of others, and letting your opinion be known.

The laissez- faire leadership style is known as delegative leadership in this style the leaders are non-intervention and allow group members to make the decision.

My group was authoritarian and Democratic style I prefer the Democratic style because it is free to give your opinion without any pressure from other members some of its behaviors are decision more creative but slower, listens to the members and guides decision making.

 

Experiences 5

To be assertive

Yes I’m assertive enough because I see myself all the time in the positive way with others and also with myself. I can see I’m assertive because I believe that I don’t have any problem or complicated stuff in my life or to be getting others ideas from different nationalities of people so they can expressing their ideas, needs and feeling without hurting the opinions or the feelings of others also I can express my ideas in both way if its positive or negative with out violating others rights.

I do have assertive communication that I always being honest and direct with others.

I can see myself assertive because I do have some points that explain why I feel I’m assertive

For myself I got many experiences from being assertive it did give me a better result and communication with my classmates also in the class I had more information about my classmates that told me their behavior style

Plan of Action

I would mainly like to open up a HR consultancy which would be looking forward for placements of engineers as well as people from marketing and other domains. The main idea of profit making in this type of industry would be from the commission that we would be getting from each and every candidate that gets placed in the companies. The main source would be mainly from the companies andthis would be one of the best known source.

Basic Requirements

The major requirements for it would mainly involve an office and somework staff to start with. Since our is anew organization it would be better if we start upwith minimum amount of capital and then proceed with ore as and when we book up profits. Thus the initial and basic requirements would be some laptops, booking up a office in Auckland. Auckland has a lot of organizations and offices andthus it would be one of the best known areas to start our office with. A telephone connection is also required for the same as we have to call  a lot of people in and around the industry.

Some local staff is required and to be precise we wouldonly hire few people for the job. This would mainly reduce upon our expenses for the same and this would be  avery good idea. We have to prepare on for the budget for the same and their need not any HR team in the initial stage. I would mainly propose a team of around 2-3 people so that we can cut downonthe expense part. The plan of action would be that wewould be making calls to  a lot of people who are mainly into HR team of companies. We can get the list of candidates from a  lot of job portal websites.

Marketing Research

Our company mainly requires a lot of marketing research that needs to be done in our project. The research component would mainly involve a lot of search on major company  and their trend on recruitments. We have to get to know as to who all are the main peoplewho are involved in the hiring in their companies. We also have to ensure that they are being contacted so that we can have ideal that is done along with them. We also have to do someresearch work on the other major prospects from where we can get to have the list of candidates. The job portals would be the best place but they also would becharging.

Hence we have to create our website as it would be published and now major recruitments are being done online. It would be one of the best ways of hiring the peopleas they can also log in andso can we. We can get huge database of people who are willing for jobs in the city and outside as well. Our research should also involve peoplefrom the same platform. For example, we have to approach people from the same domain and understand asto fromwhere can we get the business and what all arethe integrities to get a good business done. This would mainly help us in finding out the true sources and it would help our company to grow more further.

 

 

 

 

Taxation Policy

As we are into HR consultancy we should also be aware of the taxation policy that is being their in the country. We have to register our company first with the registrar of company and also get the requisite TDS certificate for the same. Appropriate taxes should also we paid for the different people whoare lookinginso that our company does not fall in the loophole. We also have to ensure that there is good amount of thinking andgood efforts needs t be made on understanding the taxation policy.

 

Targets

Marketing is the need of the hour. Thus we have to set up quarterly and yearly targetsso that we can plan as per the proceeding. We also have to make sure that there are enough people in our loop. The main thing that we have to understand is that targets have to bemade and it has to be met on time.To be frank, we have to set up monthly target for the same. It would mainlyhelp us in giving a boost to our company and their would be good amount of profits right from the beginning.

Networking is another major aspect that we have to focus upon. Wehave to build our network in the best possible way so that there are people who are following us and we arein loop with them. This is the main reason why peoplewould be coming to us. We have to get the maximum amount of recruiters in our network and this would mainly be  a plus point for us. Website would be the main point from where we would be doing our promotional activities. It would mainly boost the moral and their would be  a lot of contacts that we would be getting through this mode.

We also have to ensure thatwe are working on the correct path from time to time. We have to ensure that if there are any sort of deviations we understand it and we bring in the best possible efforts o that this deviation is not their. Wealso have to make sure that there is good amount of profits that are being booked on the same. Performance tracker has to be made and this would mainly help us in bringing in the best possible efforts from our team. Our team shouldbe skilled enough to understand and we should also ensure that there is enough measures that are being taken in it.Targets thus needs to be prepared well in dance andtheir shouldbe follow up on way contact that has been made upon. It would only with the help of it that their would be good report that canbe prepared and their would be a lot of participation from industry people and candidates that would come in our way.

Conclusion

Starting a business is a very good idea and HR consultancy has very good scope in it. Wehave to ensure that we areable to target as much as possible to maximum amount of people. It requires immensehard workand dedication to work with. We also have to think not only for us but also for ourend client’s andcustomers. This is the only way by which their would be profits that would be coming in our way. Targets have to be made andtheir should be great efforts that should be made in order to ensurethat we reach to these targets with much ease and dedication.

Wealso have to give our company a very good look so that we are able  to get the bets amount of business in a very short span of time. Internet is the best source from where their would be great amount of profits that can bederived out of.

We also have to make surethat their isgreat amount of responsibility in the stand’s thatweare going to set. The standards should be of utmost quality and courage andwe also have to build upon the greatest amount of trust in all our esteemedclient’s in HR industry.
