We spoke in class to day about cDNA. What would be the significance of creating cDNA libraries?
Answer:
cDNA library can be developed with the help of mRNA as initial component and mRNA which is primarily extracted from the cell specific tissues and with the help of this double standard DNA copy is invented. Due to the difference in initial components of development cDNA libraries will differ from the genomic library (Lu, Browse & Wallis, 2011). The nature of gene expression is the only reason which create the difference in properties and the missing parts of gene sequence. cDNA will be the subset of the organism and many clones will be expected and most importantly, clones genes sometimes expressed in all cells in a particular plant and simultaneously the cDNA library will consist of more copies of clones of several genes (Ying, 2003).
