Methodology:
The methodology would focuses on Primary and secondary data analysis both. Primary data analysis would be done through questionnaires which will be distributed to 10 salon owners. The questionnaire will start with details of the respondents such as their name, age and year of experience. The language would be simple and easy to understand.
The purpose of the survey will be explained verbally; the questionnaire will be distributed on one day and will be collected the other day.
The questionnaire will consist of closed end questions with multiple choice and then quantitative analysis will be done on Microsoft excel.
Since sufficient data and papers are available on hair extension,secondary data analysis would also be done.
Result and Analysis
The analysis is based on 10 responses of the questionnaire of which 6 are already offering different hair extensions and 4 are planning to enter in this segment of hair extension. So, the major part of the result comes from the owners who are already offering hair extension (Fig. 1)
As far as quality of hair extension goes it’s Double drawn hair which is considered to be of best quality(Fig.2). The result was derived as summing up the individual responses and then calculating percentage of repose it received with rest.

As defined earlier, hair extension is the process of adding hair to existing real hair in order to make it long, thick and beautiful. The above research mainly suggests that as far as the quality of the extension is concerned it is the double drawn hair that should be considered, however, since it expensive and some customer may look for another option, in that case its remy hair. While coming to the method of hair extension, its non-glue based method that can be preferred because of its simpler and easier mode. The research also advocates the selection of European origin hairs for extension because of the high profit which it can give and its quality.
