The building is called the Monaco House which is situated in Melbourne VLL. The man who is behind the famous shape of the Monaco house is Robert McBride, he is the man who thought about the present popular design of the building and then realised it into a physical structure. The building is a four story compound, the same also contains a historic club which has mangy huge tress grown at its side walls and they form an arch upon another small area related to the Melbourne garden club. The building can be seen as an official arena at which there is a café at the ground level and the top floor of the building is the office of the Honorary Consular of Monaco. The building was completed in the year 2007 and the same was thus commissioned to the consul of Monaco so that he could make his office at the top story of the building and the honorary is called Andrew Cannon, to whom the building is commissioned. The responsibility of building Monaco House was taken up by the Easton Builders. The building was not a one man’s dream and so it was Cundall John & Partners. The project could only be completed when the members involved in the project worked together to set up this building in Melbourne, the valuable members of the Project Team were Debbie-Lyn Ryan, Drew Williamson, Adam Pustola and Fang Cheah (e-architect 2008).The most important aspects of the Monaco house which can be discussed are the style in which the building is made and the cultural, historical or the social value which it holds. If one analyses the building form the technical perspective it can be said that the design is much contemporary and is much in synchronisation with the pace of life today, so the shape of the building is in a way a representative of the present world today which has turned 3-Dimensional in all its ways. According to the architect Mc Bride, the team wanted the structure to be abstract in its form as well as something which is drenched with the imagery.  According to the architect it is seen that they had put much research into the make-up of the building and the building has been created by proper research work and therefore holds a historical significance too. The research has been done on the existing plane tress, the gothic form of the architecture, the surrealist works of the architects, the forms like heraldic, deco and the Prague cubists, and then the architect planned the design which was finalised. The purpose behind the same design was the o let the street have a view of something different to the experience of the pedestrian (Archdaily 2012).The style of the building is deconstructivist; it is deeply associated with the postmodern thoughts in the Europe in the late   2oth century. Deconstruction is the advanced form of the modernism which being a literary movement was against the structuralists and wanted to define the undefined by breaking the conventions lying at the surface and further wanting to claim reconstruction. Deconstruction as a movement was focussing upon the meanings of the texts but then it did not limit it to the context of the text and also was widespread to the aesthetics implications related to architecture. In the art of architecture the main characteristics of the deconstructivist style is that it is open in its structure, unconventional, it is fragmented, it attempts to manipulate the basic surface of the structure and it also has no defined shape in geometry but usually has the rectilinear patterns which are seen to be dislocated in nature. The same style of the building is a pure icon of the deconstructivist style which means unpredictability and the chaotic order of the world in the postmodern era. The social angle of this building is very strong, as it is a small suite among the other small buildings and the building is one among the others to promote the already existing marketing image of the city. Every edge of the design is unique and has a twist so as to stand by the deconstructivist style of architecture.  The house has ventilation but it is not direct it is more passive, and there are fragmented outlets for the spaces (Drysdale, S 2012). The same is characterised well by the way the building is directing itself, it is multidirectional in nature and therefore adheres to the particular style which it claims to have. The cultural interpretation of the building can be that the architect through his aesthetic sense and the taste attempts to propagate the urban culture and that how nothing can be unidirectional in the present society at the same time adhering to the cubist and the gothic traditions of architecture but with a tinge of manipulation in the designThe first of the five important architects belonging to deconstructivist style is Daniel Libeskind. He has been a famous theorist and also teacher for the architectural works. This architect had earlier been much criticised for his designs to be assertive or having no strength on their representation. The architect therefore denying such claims came out with the famous Jewish Museum Berlin, that became public in the year 2001 and the museum stands for the historical and the political significance of the Jews in Germany from ancient times to the present. The second famous international architect is Frank Gehry, a Canadian-American architect whose work falls in the category of the Deconstructivism as he moves a little away from the conventional style of the building as it somewhere rejects the inherent cultural mores in the society. The building which can be taken as an example that represents this particular style is the Ray and Maria Stata Center in Cambridge (Massachusetts Institute of Technology 2012).

The third international architect who adheres to this particular style would be Zaha Hadid who even won an award to create Maggie’s Fife in the premises of the hospital in Victoria. Though it looks much isolated and much in darkness but actually the interior is much open to ventilation and liveliness. According to the interpreters of the building it lies parallel to the patient’s life that is undergoing the journey of cancer (Design Museum + British Council, 2007). The next important deconstructivist architect which is of notice in the contemporary times is Thomas Mayne, he is famous for the American Courthouse, which is a new symbol of Judiciary as was built in the year 2006. The fifth important architect which can be associated with the same category of art and whose buildings adhere to the structure of the deconstructivist architecture is Lebbeus Wood’s. The style is a little unique in his case which is more into the war architecture, and the designs of the buildings claim the uniqueness of his structures and the experiment which he performs in his style.
