The factors that were important for my team effectiveness were such as the goals of our strategy was clear, all my team members knew their roles and responsibilities, resources were internally and externally utilized properly, difference in terms of culture was valued in a productive manner, continuous feedback was being generated among all the members, and there was a flow of synergy. Visual communication process took place in my team and several cost related to traveling, parking and etc was being reduced. I and all my team members recorded our recollections and impressions of interaction among us with mutual understanding. I used to be online at Face book when all my team members were online for about 3-4 hours according to their suitability. I used to present my ideas and also listen to other team members ideas too. The discussion and arguments were handled by me and my team members in a positive manner. Work related arguments were accepted because it used to create a positive result at the end.

The theories were being implemented and being practiced because it helped me and my team to identify the elements of team effectiveness.  It was a team building model used by my organization to synchronize the team member’s performance for an effective output. The tasks characteristics, working structure, team processing and team related changes are being learned by me and my team in appropriate manner. I learned along with my team that input process consisted of task characteristics and working structure. The task characteristics explained me and my team to clarify why team has been framed at face book. It explained me and my team about the individual qualities of the team members. I and my team members Knowledge, skills and abilities, interpersonal skills, motivation level, personality, and mentality abilities was being shared among us for the effective performance. The qualities of the team members were identified among us on the basis of communication and the style of sharing the files & documents. It helped me and all the members of my team to interact effectively with each other. The working structure helped my team to perform the work effectively on online basis with the help of appropriate team norms. If in my team the members were not available during meeting on virtual basis they need to inform the management in advance. Commanding was done by management and structuring was on formal basis.  I along with my team members came to know about how management has distributed the types of powers such as referent power, reward power, expert power, among us in the team. I experienced that our team was homogeneous in nature and resources were shared with cohesiveness in a developed virtual based environment (MindTools Ltd     2012). The throughput explained me and my team regarding processing of the team. I learned along with my team how to process the team further with the brand related strategy. It is a mode where team building exercise was being conducted by the management to know how effectively I and my team could perform virtually. The output process explained me and my team regarding how changes occur in a team and how one can manage it. My team and I processed with coordination, effective verbal and non verbal means of communication, resolving the conflicts with appropriate work related discussions, invited each member of my team for effective decision making process, problems were being resolved by analyzing it, and it was mandatory for all the members not to cross the boundary (Alan Chapman   2012). I also learned with my team how to cope up with the changes related to team. It was basically formed to explain our team regarding the roles, norms, commanding, and new process to making the team work effective. I and my team members performance was being tracked with the help of our login time period, the quality of the work being performed by each of us. It was also being measured by the peer reviewed feedback process where my team members rated me on the basis of my performance level.  Though internet cost was being invested by the company all the members were provided laptops so that we could convey the important messages to the team members during planning process of the branding strategy. The individual changes among me and my members in terms of motivation, attitudes and skills was being managed by sharing among each other. These all factors provided an appropriate feedback regarding my individual performance and also collectively my team member’s performance. This model helped me and my team to understand about the dynamic aspect of working in a virtual team by functioning effectively. The suitability of this model was that it engaged all the members and social loafing was not being entertained by the team members. The virtual team helped me and my team members to understand and share their branding strategies by keeping the global aspects in mind. Since the cost is being incurred by management, our virtual team was being provided required time, and resources for sharing the files on online basis.

The rewards that were linked by management of my organization motivated me and my team members to perform the best. Performance and career growth was linked with the effective performance of our team. It helped to avoid the mistakes because social loafing of members was not being entertained by the other member’s . I was aware about how to handle the team members who belonged to different diverse backgrounds. Equal respect was being given by each other in our team and dignity was being maintained. If in my team any one of the member was being discriminated on the basis of age, sex, gender, language and race, then in such case management had right to disqualify the member from our team.  The main advantage of my team was that it reduced the geographical boundaries and it was more cost effective as compared to other types of teams. In virtual team I and my team members learned each other expertise with appropriate coordination, exchanging of information and by valuing the respect (Amazon com Inc     2012).
