The process of total quality management technique was used to develop the quality definations.

Two quality measures were identified namely, the project needed to gain support from departmental staff that wanted new system to provide added advantage and also needed support from the external end-users.

The staff just wanted that the new system must improve the existing arrangements

d. What information/ data would you need to collect to measure quality against the criteria?

Staff feedback would be needed on regular basis to measure the quality

e. What quality items were compromised because of time, resources or other constraints?

It would be difficult to get feedback from external end users in the allocated time frame of 12 months as they are unfamiliar with the product

The features of new system was compared with that of existing system

Quality Management Issues:

The only drawback seen in the quality management issue is that the department staff has no idea about the scope of the requirement for the project and that no training would be provided to staff once the project is complete. The selected vendor should provide support and assistance even after the project is delivered for a specific time frame.
