Management structure and Communication

Wintergrove Education and Care Service aimed at maintaining an objective of inducing within the students the philosophical view of natural environment, ‘green living’, sustainability and recycling. It has helped the organization in developing a positive working culture in the organization. It has helped in the suitable functioning of the organization as per the objectives of the business to extend the education at a lower cost.  The accountability of the management of the organization is based on the smooth functioning of the organization through the identification of the needs of the children. The educators and students also hold the organizational management accountable for mitigating the issues that are faced by the same during the educational programs. Mitigation of the different issues will be helping the organization in undertaking an objective based functioning of the processes.

The communication strategy that is undertaken by the educational institution has helped in making the stakeholders aware of the changes in the structure and the processes. The management of the organization organized different sessions that will be helping the stakeholders to identify the different changes that are planned by the business and thereby bring forth modifications in their approaches. The modifications in the approaches of the educators will be helping the organization to adhere to the objectives. On the other hand, the organization issued newsletters and blogs for making the relevant stakeholders aware of the different processes that will be undertaken by the institution. The organization aimed at inducing varied concepts of environmental sustainability and green approach among the young learners, which would be facilitated through the implementation of the relevant technologies.

B. Educators

The number of educators that is required for undertaking the smooth performance of the service is a sum of nine educators who will be responsible for inducing the students with the knowledge of sustainability and the green approach through the very beginning of their academic career. The ratio of the educators to the students is 1:8 respectively. It will be helping the organization in delivering proper attention to the students that is required for their development as per the needs of the organizational objective.

 The educators will be required to have a specific knowledge of child psychology, which will be helping the same in identifying the issues that are faced by the young learners. On the other hand, knowledge on the sustainability measures and induction of the same is again an important qualification for judging the capabilities of the educators. The different aspects of the change in the systems of operations that are undertaken by the organization is facilitated through the coordinated functioning of the educators as per the requirements of the organization.

The ancillary staff will be helping the organization in maintaining the smooth functioning of the processes that are planned as per the objectives of the organization. The chief role of the administration assistant, cook and the like has helped in maintaining the smooth functioning of the organization as per the objectives.

 Part 2:

A. Recruitment of a new Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care educator

 I, being the nominated supervisor of the organization, will be held responsible for the day- to -day operation of the organization relating to the National Quality Framework. My specific activities will be helping the organization to maintain the standards of the activities that are planned by the same while educating the young learners. The different standards that are required to be adhered by the organization reflects the union of Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations the National Quality Standards, and the Framework for School Age Care – My Time, Our Place.  The functioning of the management of the organization is dependent on the activities and procedures that are suggested by the nominated supervisor. Therefore, I will be playing a major role in framing the activities and the recruitments that the organization might undertake for the smooth functioning of the processes.

The orientation of the new educators will be based on making the people aware of the processes and the culture that is followed by the organization. The orientation will be helping me to introduce the new educators to the common objective of the organization and the other members who are working for the organization. On the other hand, the induction of the new educator will be based on the briefing of the job responsibility that the candidate is required to undertake through presentations and group discussions. It will be helping me to make the educator aware of the diverse responsibilities that are required to be maintained in order to bring in changes in the systems of the business while operating in the different situations.

The different ongoing procedures that I might set for the induction of the educator are through the creation of proper presentations and training sessions. It will be helping the educational practitioner to identify and undertake the different steps as per the responsibilities and the expectations of the organization.

B. Responsibilities of a Diploma trained educator

The different responsibilities that are associated with the Diploma trained educator is to remain aware and thereby stick on to the Government Legislation and Regulations relating to the  children’s services. It will be helping the same in maintaining a proper congruency in the functions that are undertaken by the Diploma trained educator. On the other hand, the assistance that is asserted by the Diploma trained educator in adhering and implementing the National Quality Standards will be helping the organization in maintaining and monitoring over the quality of the activities that are undertaken as per the objectives. Implementation of the Work Health and Safety Regulations while undertaking the relative activities will be helping the organization in maintaining the balance over the activities that are planned by the institutions. The chief responsibility of the Diploma trained educator is related to establish a proper communicational bonding between the parents and the management of the organization to bring in improvements in the processes.

Part 3:

A. Performance and management

Assessment of the work performance

I would like to make different checkpoints through which the work performance might be assessed based on the activities that are undertaken by the members of the organization as per the objectives of the same. The different legislative regulations and their strict adherence will be reflecting a proper functioning workforce. On the other hand, the adherence to the varied policies that are formed by the organization will be helping the business in maintaining the smooth performance of the workforce.

Work goals

The different work related goals will be dependent on the identification of the relevant regulations and policies that will be helping the organization in implementing the required processes for bringing forth improvements. The different regulations relating to the health and safety measures and the manner in which they might be implemented on the body of the organization helps in maintaining the effectiveness of the organizational processes as per the objectives.

Training and development

The training and development that might be considered in this context is permitted through the screening of relevant regulations and thereby creating an audio- visual presentation that will be making the candidate aware of the different responsibilities that is required to be considered. The training will be helping me to make the candidate aware of the different policies and thereby chalk out the course of action.

Principles of ‘coaching’

 The principles of coaching will be based on the identification of the needs of the organization and the students. I will be taking steps to create different scenarios, which will be allowing the candidate to undertake the strategic steps for improving and mitigating the issue. The self discovery through reflection attribute in my coaching will be helping me to introduce practical scenarios to the candidates for making them aware of the different responsibilities that are held by the same.

Specific support

 The support that I will be rendering to the candidate is to provide the same with different handouts.  It will be helping the person to actualize the steps that is being discussed in the sessions. It will be helping me to encourage the suitable functioning of the candidate as per the needs of the diverse situations.

Conflict resolution strategies

Identification of the issues that are faced by the people will be helping in enumerating different mitigation strategies through which the issues might be resolved. It has helped in maintaining the smooth performance of the business while operating as per the objectives. Communication with the defaulters is one of the major strategies that might be undertaken by me in order to mitigate the different issues that are faced by the organization in different points of time.
