Foundational works
On the foundational works, the stub columns is ongoing. It will take 3 days to complete the remaining casting of the stub columns. About 80% of the columns have been concreted. After completion of the stub columns, backfilling of the section will be carried out. This will take 1 day to be completed. Casting of column bases and ground floor slab is ongoing. Half of the works have been completed (Woodson, 2012). It will take 5 days to complete the remaining works where a 2 days will be taken to do the steel works for the column bases and 2 days for the steel fixing for the ground floor reinforcement and 1 day to cast the remaining section. Survey works to control the levels will be carried out at the different sections. Site excavation is also ongoing on site and the activity is about 80% complete. The works will take about 2 days to be completed (De, 2014). After excavation, backfilling and compaction of the section will be carried out. This will be done after the casting of the column bases is done. Since most of the backfilling and compaction has been done, the remaining section will be completed in 1 day.
Superstructure works
Steel fixing for the suspended floor. This activity has been done has been done on most sections. The activity on the suspended floor has been done for about 90% and only a small section is remaining. The remaining steel fixing on this section of the floor can be completed in 1 day. Plumbing and electrical conduits fixing will be done and this will take 1 day to be completed. Casting of the section of the floor will be the next activity and this will take 1 day to be completed. Casting of the columns is ready to be done. this is after the fixing of the formwork has been completed (Kowal, 2014). The casting of the columns will take 1 day to be completed. Scaffolding and safety barricading is required for all the superstructure works. The works will take a day to be completed. Second floor section require slab formwork. A section of the floor has been completed and casting done. for the remaining section scaffolding works for the second floor section will take 2 days to be completed. After that setting the formwork will commence and it will take 2 days to be done for the remaining section. Steel fixing for the slab and beams will then commenced and this will take 2 days to be completed. Plumbing and electrical works on the floor sections will required a day to be done and casting will be carried out in 1 day (Hey, 2015). A section of columns on ground flor section need to be completed. The steel fixing will take a day and formwork fixing will be done in a day. Casting of the columns will take a day to be completed.
