Answer:
Task 1:
Equipments are a major force behind the operational factors of an industry. The equipments form an integrated part of the industry, making it extremely easy for the employees in the industry to work according to the easiest possible way that is there at offer. The main equipments of an industry mainly include:
These equipments are mainly focused on the manufacturing part of the industry, rolling a variety of processes to make the efforts of the workers a lot easier in comparison to the manual labour that they generally exert.
Computers:
The computers are generally used as record keeping equipments that function very well in favour of the industry by keeping it up to date and informing about the changing scenario taking place in the industry with escaping time.
The equipments usually used for the moving of materials, usually the finished product from the industry, forming a vital part in the industry. Transport equipments mainly are responsible for the carriage of the bulk products of the industry to the normal destinations concerning the transport requirement.
Functions of the equipments:
Plant and machinery: Machinery is generally directed towards the manufacturing concept of the industry. Functioning mainly to produce the final products required to be transferred for the purpose of sale of the industry. It usually is installed to help the cause of the labours in the industry (Ahern & Harford, 2014).
The record keeping instruments are generally the information base of an industry. They keep the functioning of an industry smooth in respect to updating and operational aspects. Computers inherently function as the memory stem of an industry, keeping all records required to maintain the day to day functioning of an industry.
Transport:
The transport equipments function in a unique way giving the necessity motion to transport the products to the final market. The transport equipments generally form the basis of any industry, without a network of good transport; it becomes increasingly difficult to bring the product to the market that sustains the growth process.
Faults in the equipments:
The normal faults that are encountered in terms of these equipments are as follows:
Working fatigue:
The working fatigue is the most common form of metal problem that can be encountered in the industry, equipments tend to wither with time and the continuous rigorous use, normally in the form of metal degradation that reduces the efficiency of the equipments over time. Computers often suffer working fatigue due to overuse that naturally become the principle reason for the loss of working hours of the company, in the form of computer defaults and also the malfunction in relation to parts of the company.
Obsolete:
The obsolete problem is the largest concern in the industrial sector. Machineries often go into the obsolete sphere, whereby they lose their use in the modern era, even attracting a lot of investment from the industries. The same is applicable in the case of computers where the obsolete technology can be of a lot of problem to the industry. Motor vehicle degradation generally is responsible for the breakdown of transport process which affect the market in every way.
Maintenance problem:
Maintenance is generally the most important aspect of machinery and the other equipments of the industry. The lack of maintenance can cause breakdown resulting in problems for the industry (Rahman & Malek, 2016).
Task 2:
Organizational policy, procedures and guidelines:
The organizational policy, procedures and guidelines to be followed are:
There comes an essential requirement for the policies and procedures in the industry
Policy and procedures regarding the use of machinery are as follows:
Allocating a working time:
The working time for the machinery should be properly allocated. Extra working hours can cause time loss affecting the working hours of the machinery. The same goes in the case of computers and the transport vehicles where an overuse can severely affect the assets.
Allocation of competent workers in the process: The allocation of the best workers in the production process is required to utilize the full value of the machinery. The competent workers often allot an edge in the use of machinery compared to the other casual workers. Skilled employees can handle the computers and the transport equipments with efficiency.
Maintenance:
The act of maintaining machinery is extremely important for an organization; the wear and tear in the equipment can cause a lot of trouble for the organization. The requirement remains for proper maintenance techniques.
Proper training:
The proper training of individuals can be of many help for the running of the industry. Proper training can make an individual extremely adapt in understanding the working of machinery, computers and the transport vehicles that can develop the company.
Mileage limit:
This is a policy only directed towards the transport equipment, where a specific limitation has been allotted for the car to travel in the entire distance.
Inspection:
The more regular policy where the inspection is important for every individual involved in the work sphere. The inspection keeps a record of the progress of the industry on a daily basis, regarding the work sphere and the equipments that are being employed.

The cost and expenditure details of the equipments:
The method or the purchases are very effective because it displays effectively the reduction in burden of the production process. The burden of expenses may be high in the initial years yet the cost reduces with division of time in the recent years. Cost reduction usually is the aim of any production. The modern machinery will serve the purpose along with the computer improvement in the transport department.
The Final Choice:
The final choice of purchase will increase the productivity of the company; increased number of products will result in the increase of revenue, which will automatically balance out the expenses. The increase in the number of computers will automatically increase record keeping and the betterment of transport facilities will be better for carrying a better half of the finished product to the market. The final choice of purchase of the following resources is thus important for the development prospective of the student.
Reality of the final resource:
The final choice was very realistic because improving the production process with a new machinery will anyhow push the cost a little high in the short run but the long run scenario will automatically reduce the cost and multiply labour costs. The increasing production is a factor that rescues the cost situation in an industry. Hence improving the production, the transport is necessary for the improvement of an industry (Nishiyama et al,. 2015)
The reason for the choice:
The choice was purely made keeping in mind the productivity of the company and its expansion in the market in terms of sales, linking the transport prospect of the industry, thereby helping in the sales of the company that will ultimately benefit the organization in the end.
e.) The general channels for acquiring the resources are mainly from three spheres:
Manufacturers:
The plant and machinery can only be taken from the manufacturers, as the only location for machineries are from the manufacturers, contacting the old vegetable oil manufacturers will be necessary for the completion of the purchase (Kök , Fisher & Vaidyanathan, 2015).
Dealers:
The car purchase can be done from the usual dealers linked with the company. The cars are normally transport vehicles that have specific dealers to be contacted for the purchase. A bulk purchase can be enough to get the goods at a discount from the usual market price.
The resource concerning the purchase of computers can be availed from the wholesalers in the market. Normally bulk purchases are subject to discount from the wholesalers on bulk orders (Vyas et al., 2016)
Training program:
Labour training program: The training of machine handling will commence from 11.30 and has to be completed by 12.30
Security regarding machinery handling to be held by 1 pm.
