Executive Summary
In this report, the Company Coca Cola has been analyzed on the basis of change management. The assumptions of managing change held by a major change agents has been mentioned such as Fashion Pressures, Reputation and Credibility Pressure, Growth Process and Diagnosis Process. These all changes made the Coca Cola to go under a change of External and Internal. The External change had done by the company for improving the conditions of the society and internal change had done by the company for improving the health & fitness of employees of the Company. These two changes done by the Coca Cola Company had changed the perception of change management among people. In general change creates tension and fear among people because of increased competition, increased responsibility and loss of jobs. In last some suggestions have been given to the company in order to manage change in the future.

It can be seen that change management is a strategy of shifting individuals and organization from an existing position to future position. It is observed that change management is a process that aimed at motivating employees for accepting of changes and up gradations in their existing business environment. The assumptions of managing change held by a major change agent according to the case study are as follows. These changes contain changing the culture & customs of the organization and start learning unit in the Company. The changes for markets and the restructuring of the process of the business are the factors of creating the changes. In current, the impact of international drink industry had changed. It can be seen that there are significant trends in behavior of the consumer, first is enhancing demand for the service and the product that can meet its fitness & health needs and second is enhancing requirement for the products to live in a less environmental damaging lifestyles. It can be seen that Coca Cola was required to create the innovative culture to develop the strength and to face the pressure of fashion. This type of assumption create a change for increasing demand of the product that can meet the needs of heath & fitness and the second one is increasing demand for the product that can create the environment for less damaging lifestyles. It can be seen that there are various criticisms faced by the Coca Cola from various decades. It is observed that, greater usage of pesticides in its product has destroyed the environment. For that, Coca Cola provided a grant of $500000 and entered into an agreement with the American Academy to assist the excellence of health lifestyle education. It can be seen that these measures have been taken by the company to enhance its corporate and social image and build credibility and goodwill with shareholders. It is very clear that credibility and goodwill pressure, this change is associated to maintain the sufficient corporate governance. It is analyzed that from the report of Coca Cola that the company served 1.5 million drinks routinely, and this percentage had increased to 1.6 million in 2010.The Company sells cold drinks in approximately 200 countries. The company had already viewed 2% improvement in the efficiency of the water during 2006 and undertook initiatives to repay the similar quantity of water which it implements to societies with the fund of World Wildlife (Sparrow &Cooper, 1998).Even, the Company had tried to minimize or avoid the harm for the maintenance of green environment from production & creation of new products. It can be viewed that the company had reduced the usage of plastic bottle by the creation of innovation technology. This type of change had done by the company not for its benefits but for the benefit of the society. The experience of this organizational change had changed the perception about the management change because Coca Cola Company had implemented external change for the maintenance of the environment not for the creation of the profit. Another, type of change implemented by the Company is internal change. It is very clear that another major trend is Fitness and Health and that’s why people spend more in fitness & health. To maintain the heath & fitness of the consumer the Coca Cola Company had launched low fat products such as Zero Coca Cola & Diet Coke during 2005.In recent time, consumers become conscious for low fat products and that’s why the company came out with low calorie products. It is very clear that in general, people are reluctant to change because of various responsibilities such as increased competition, new responsibilities and new type of work. It can be seen that Change is having dangerous meaning in the eyes of the employees like downsizing, layoffs and pay cuts. Normally, change has created stress and the tension among employees in the working environment. The arising of innovative technology, enhanced global competition and innovative products made the organization to go under a change. But after done analysis of Coca Cola Company it has been observed that the Company had undergone an Internal and External change. These both changes have done by the Company for the sake of the environment and the health and fitness of the employees. These types of activities done by the company had changed the perception about the change management. Besides this Coca Cola company has introduced eco system throughout the business for minimizing the impacts on the surroundings. After done the analysis of the Coca Cola Company it has been observed that the company had successfully implemented the process of the change management and evaluated all critical success factors. Different types of avenue have been implemented by the process of change management may result in distinct affect of the development of the business. It is essential to have thorough understanding and attention to the process of change management that was implemented. It can be seen that both changes external and internal will affect the style of the management. External change had done by the Coca Cola Company for managing the needs of the consumer and the society whereas the internal change had done by the Company for the creation of the new product and this will lead to affect the sales quantity of the product.

It can be seen that Management produces various scenarios for the future, explains opportunities based upon potential futures and analyze its strength and weakness. The implications of present perspective are based on approach to manage future organisational change
The Company should enhance urgency, and encourage people to shift and make strategies that are actual and applicable.The Company should build the team to acquire the correct people in position with the correct emotional commitment, & the combination of knowledge & skills. The company should involve so many people as it is possible, convey the essentials and react to the needs of the people. The company should remove obstacles and make constructive suggestion and feedback and support from the manager and the leader. The Company should set the aim that are simple to achieve and stages before initiating the new ones. To implement the constant change, the company should emphasize on existing& future milestones. The Company can implement the successful change in the future through promotions & innovative change leaders.
