My Ideal Job: 1180528

 Introduction

In this project, I will discuss about my ideal job, the reason about my interests for this job, in which company I wish to join, about the job role and all the resources which will helpful to find the job. My ideal job is the post of project manager.

Job description is the informative documentation of duties, responsibilities, tasks, working conditions and scope which are related to the particular job listing in any organization via the procedure of the analysis of job (Morgeson, Brannick and Levine 2019). Also it details the qualifications also skills that any individual who applied for this job needs to retain (DuBois et al. 2015).

2. My Ideal Job

My ideal job is the project manager. The project manager is the person who has overall accountability for successful beginning, scheduling, design, implementation, observing, controlling and lastly ending of the project. This job title is used in the various field such as information technology, construction, architecture and many more. This job profile of project manager attracts me because I am able to design and schedule any project very efficiently which is the passion of mine. So by using my skill, I can earn money as well as I can follow my passion by creating it my career.

I would like to join in the company named Accenture, which is a company of information technology in United Kingdom situated in the year of 2003. I want to work with this company because it is the best information technology company in UK. In this company, I can definitely utilise my skills and also learn many things for the better future.

3. Role and Skill

3.1. Job Description of Project Manager

Project Manager manages the key client projects. The responsibilities of the project management contain completion and coordination of the projects on time within the scope and budget (Takey and de Carvalho 2015). They can prepare reports for the upper management regarding the status of the project.

3.1.1. Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the project manager are various and important which are discussed below:

Confirm that all the projects are delivered on time, within the budget and within the scope.

Coordinate all the internal resources also vendors or third parties for perfect implementation of projects (Ahsan, Ho and Khan 2013).

Confirm the availability and allocation of the resources.

Create the detailed plan of the project for monitoring and tracking the progress.

Assist in definition of scope and objectives of the project by involve all the stakeholders and ensure the technical feasibility (Cohen, Ornoy and Keren 2013).

Performing the risk management to minimize the risks of the project.

Generating and maintaining the documentation of the comprehensive project.

Meet with the clients for taking all the detailed briefs of ordering also clarifying all distinct requirements of every project.

Use also continually develop the leadership skills.

Attend the training also conferences as per the requirement for maintaining the proficiency (Bredin and Söderlund 2013).

Generate the diagrams, process maps and spreadsheets to document purpose.

Generate complete plans of project to share with clients also the other employees of the company.

Achieve the economic purposes also make the adjustments for the project constraints based on the analysis of finance.

Delegate all the tasks of the project based on the junior employees by their individual skill sets, experience levels and strengths (Bredillet, Tywoniak and Dwivedula 2015).

Accomplish the changes to scope of the project, schedule of the project also the costs of the project by use of appropriate techniques of verification.

Perform all other related duties as assigned by the higher authorities.

3.1.2. Person Specification and Skills Required

There are some requirements are needed which is described below:

Confirmed working experience in the project management field.

Excellent internal communication and the client facing skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good organizational skills contains the attention to the detailed also the multitasking skills.

Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft office specially Microsoft word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Visio.

The certificate of Project Management Professional (PMP) or the PRINCE II is the advantage.

Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree in the appropriate study or field or the experience in the equivalent work which is project management, is needed with good aggregate.

3.1.3 My Qualification

I have the useful knowledge about the tools and theory of project management.

I am an innovative person with the proper and useful skills of language.

Familiar with the environment of working also understand the requirements of the client.

4. Resources

The job description is available on the several resources such as the online job portal such as Monster, LinkedIn and Twitter from which any person can find the suitable job.

4.1. Monster

It is the world-wide online solution for the people who are searching for jobs and for all the companies who need skilful people (Monster.com 2020). It evaluates definite statistics also delivers best job to the applicant and the best applicants to the company.

Monster can be supportive to find a job as maximum of the companies’ post their offers for job on this platform also I can find out the name of the companies I would like to join permitting to the best job role which is asked by them. It turns out to be an easy foundation to apply for the jobs and distinguish what the job necessitates also if it is appropriate for me or not.

4.2. LinkedIn

It was on the record launched on the day of May 5, 2003 with the idea in mind to generate the economic also the opportunities of job for the people through the world (LinkedIn: Log In or Sign Up 2020). It associates the companies to the workers and discoveries the appropriate job for the worker also a capable applicant for the company.

LinkedIn can support me to get a job, as there are dissimilar companies who post about the job roles. I can select the companies I would like to work in and can apply straight to the company with my specifics also the qualifications and work experiences.

4.3. Twitter

Twitter is the online stage which expresses what is happening in the world also what the newest styles are that are being tracked by all the people (Twitter.com 2020). It has all the newest update and proceedings that are happening all through the world.

Twitter can be supportive to search for the job, as there are many corporations which post about the opportunities of job on the platform. I can search for the ideal job by spending the hashtags which are best appropriate to the role of the job I am observing for.

5. Conclusion

From the above project, I can be concluded that my ideal job is Project manager on the several online portal or resources such as Monster, LinkedIn and Twitter. The role of the job is to confirm that all the projects are delivered on time, within the budget and within the scope.
