It is important to note that the impact of the media and the technology embedded phones and other devices has become an important part of our lives and as a matter of fact, it is critical to note that the different cultures along with different individuals and the different individuals with the different types of the cultures reacts to the use of technology and the different types of the media devices in a very complex and differential manner and way as well, which should be taken into high consideration. The impact of the media and the advent of news forms of the information technology has increased connectivity but has also led to the development of the major complex psychosocial, social and the mental health issues that can prevent the progress the culture and its individual as well as society as a whole. As the different cultural values and the social values related to a culture is different and this can severely impact that amount of content that a child views or an adolescent or even an adult views on the mobile or other devices that uses technology and it is chiefly the cultural and the social value differences that increasingly impact the level of social communication in the media and the related verbal as well as the nonverbal communication. With respect to the research thesis that relates to the psychiatric nursing in issue of the insomnia and the sleeping disorders in the adolescents and the youth plus young adults due to the use of media and technology at night and during the sleeping hours and this leads to the develop the complex problem of attention deficits, work life imbalance, exhaustion, tiredness, fatigue, decreased performance in the studies and the increasing rates of the absenteeism which is highly critical to be noted (Jniene et al., 2019). In the motivational interview for addressing the above-mentioned issues in the given client segment, it is important and also very vital to note that the cultural values such as that pertaining to be the factors of introversion, extraversion, guarding, dignity seeking and verbal signs of aggression and of being outspoken play a huge role in the response building and the progression of the motivational counselling session, trying to address the above mentioned issues related to the sleep related complications arising from the excessive use of the technology and the media and the blue light off the screen, falling on the eyes during the sleeping hours, causing social and psychological issues(Muazzam & Ahmad, 2017). Similarly, the facial expressions, the various types of the gestures and the different toning of the voice and body language are particular to certain cultures and in this motivational interviewing, I researched earlier about their cultural and social backgrounds, thus being able to build up a culturally competent and socially congruent communication with the clients and their family as well.

The influence of the ‘Go react’ while conducting the motivational interview with my clients were both impactful and helpful in many certain numbers of the way. The features of the feedback, grading, and critiquing makes it more possible for the counsellors and the psychiatric nurses to use the platform to a greater use so as to inform care and make informed decisions. The most interesting part is the use of the user interface which is high smooth and functional in an efficient way that increase the speed and the pace as well as the quality of the motivational counselling or the motivational interviewing process greatly. Conversing with the patient became much convenient, easier and also very interesting on this platform and in future as well, the use of this tool so to undertake a motivational interviewing will be an important choice.

The online or rather the various types of the modern-day telecommunication interactions that happens between the psychiatric nurse practitioner and the patient or between the various clinicians in an interconnected manner along with the patient, has provided an important way of entering a new dimension of therapeutic communication. As most the patients are highly stigmatized with the affection of the mental health disorders and conditions and due to lack of knowledge, openness, lack of transportation and other sociocultural and economic issues, this can affect the diagnosis of a patient with a mental health disorder. This can affect the quality of care received and the amount of care received at all through a traditional form of psychiatric nursing care and thus through the modern techniques of the teleconferencing, telemedicine, the conditions such as motivational counselling and the interviewing of the clients such as in this case, helping the young adults and adolescents quit the habit of losing sleep hours die to obsession with the smartphones and other digital media devices – becomes more easier and convenient, as the barriers are much less.
