INTRODUCTION

The report is developed in concentration with communication management in which various aspects related with the communication will be provided. BRL Hardy: Globalizing an Australian Wine Company. The managing director of BRL Hardy Europe is Carson who remain engaged in the management practices and remain indulged in the practices of market surveys so as to gather appropriate set of information related with the organizational progress as well as the strategies of the various other companies available in the market. Market surveys helps in evaluating the aspects which could help in the progress of the company, it helps in developing various set of strategies and evaluating the aspects which could provide a better as well as effective set of support to the company so as to sustain in the market. BRL Hardy was a top selling Australian wine brand in Great Britain and holds 2nd position in the market of wine. The company was introduced in 1788 by Captain Arthur Phillip who managed to bring the company on the position at which it was leading the market. For the organization working at such a level it is necessary that the decisions which are to be made by the same should made after analyzing the market situations. It is necessary that appropriate set of decisions should be made by the company in relation with various aspects which could provide better as well as effective set of support to the same. The report is being developed after analyzing all the aspects of the case of BRL Hardy which had obtained a utmost position in the market of wine in past but due to certain wrong decisions company faced issues in managing the position and to ensure that it could remain in the market it has to take the decision of merger which lead to change BRL with BRHL. There were certain set of issues which were evaluated in the case these issues are in effective decision making, rapid growth as well as ineffective leadership. These are the targeted issues which affected the progress of BRL Hardy and affected the progress of the same. Target audience for the report which is developed in relation with BRL Hardy are the board of directors and management so that they could make appropriate set of decisions in relation with various aspects of the organization.

 

 

ANALYSIS

According to the management theory it could be analyzed that the top level management of BRL Hardy should have indulged in the process of planning, organizing, leading and controlling the aspects (Sreih and Maalouf, 2016). It is a well known aspect that growth is the ultimate target for every organization but rapid growth could have a direct impact on the processes of the business and the same aspect was held with BRL Hardy as the management faced issues in making effective set of decisions and failed to fulfill the requirements of the company due to which they have to make the decisions of merger with other company so as to manage the work (Choren, 2015).

According to the perspective of the management it is required that the management should understand the historical foundation of the management (Bag and Anand, 2016). In the same manner it is required that the management of BRL Hardy should have evaluated the historical foundation and should have worked on the basis of the same so as to ensure that the business would continue to remain in the market and provide better as well as effective set of services to the people who were attached with the company (Sreih and Maalouf, 2016).

Plans goals and strategies are other aspects which should be focused upon by the management of BRL Hardy so as to ensure that it could sustain in the market (Genç, 2017). Although the strategies of the company were effective as it was indulged in the acquisition of the other companies in which it was required that the organization should have acquired less number of companies because it is required that it should have effective amount of funds so as to manage the business processes. But wrong decisions affected the process of the company due to which company has to merge with another organization (Choren, 2015).

Managing human resource is another important aspect which should be focused upon by BRL Hardy, indulging the employees in the decision making aspects would have helped the management in making appropriate decision regarding the growth which could have helped the organization in making appropriate set of decisions regarding the growth and would have supported to maintain its position in the competitive market (Bag and Anand, 2016).
