I have always had an interest in Information technology, as since childhood I was much interested in the use of the computers. I always found it more than a machine because it was ethically much utilised by me from the time I used to study at the basic level. The language of the computer programs was always interesting to me and I learnt the language with keen interest from the time of the schooling. The world around us has almost turned into e-world and so is incomplete without computers (Entrepreneur Media 2012). The journey right from learning the basic skills in the computers like the MS Word, Power point excel, to learning languages like C++ and Oracle, to understand the installation and configuring, I have taken interest in all the aspects of the computer. I have always successfully installed many programs and have made the best use of the Web 2.0 in the contemporary hour (Lamoureux, C 2000).
I believe that IT today is present everywhere it has always circumscribed itself into all the systems and the organisational boundaries. The companies run today only with the help of the technology, but I believe that it has to be handled and managed carefully. Therefore though I am a college student as of now, I wish to pursue my career as an IT Professional with good management skills too. Therefore, I believe that enrolling me in your university would mean a lot as I would be able to polish both my interests. I believe that Business management would cater to many needs of the client which would creatively blend with the IT skills which the course will offer along with it (Sheahan, K 2012).
Presently I am studying English and Mathematics in college because I believe that language skills are important for communication in any discipline and any business would be incomplete and remain ineffective if it is deprived of the good communication. On the other hand, in business one should be sharp with the empirical skills and also to provide the quantitative skills too therefore I have been studying mathematics so that it could help me further with this course. Along with my other hobbies as mentioned in my brief profile, travelling and reading are interesting to me and I am confident that it would be equally useful in gaining the business skills because while studying I would like to read more about this course and explore some extra knowledge also (Lorette, K 2012).
At school both primary and the secondary levels, I have made the best of the knowledge which I could gain in IT and have also taken part in the quizzes that were related to this subject. I have even been awarded for the same at the inter-school level. I believe that if I do the course from this university I would be able to manage the world of technology in collaboration with the business as I want to reach the zenith of IT when I see myself five years down the line. E-commerce is where I see myself excelling in; which I feel is a fine blend of technology and the management skills.
