Self Reflection:While completing this assignment, I learnt that Journalism Practices refers to a scholarly, international as well as a multi-disciplinary journal which w9ould help to provide various types opportunities. These opportunities would be termed as one of the critical & reflective based studies which would mainly focus upon the professional practice of journalism. The main emphasis which I learned regarding journalism practice was not to imply any false connections between theory & practice (Ida, 2007). But, it simply meant a declaration that Journalism Practice refers to a primary concern which would help to analyze as well as explore the various issues which would lead to the professional relevance of the same. I learnt that, Journalism practice refers to a intellectual rigorous journal which would help in the contribution of being acknowledged with the various types of experts in this particular field.According to me journal practice has been devoted as a study & an analysis which would talk about the significant issues which would arise from the field of professional practice. Journalism practice’s scope would take into consideration the following aspects such as training, education, new technology, journalism, ethics, policies, etc.

Based upon the journalism practice I understood that journalism practice would be able to complement as well as analyze the current trends which would help in order to expand all the teaching as well as analyze the journalism practice within this academy. This would help in order to provide reflection to the curriculum which would consolidate journalism as a discipline within higher education.Learning by practicing in case of the education in Journalism is quite a common task but doing this task alone would not guarantee learning in all the aspects. Instead, this would lead to behaviors which would not be termed to be the best practice. While working upon this assignment I learnt that, journalists are professionals who would simply apply a body consisting of knowledge in to the various circumstances which would be encountered to be appropriate (Sheridan, 2002). I also learnt that, in similar manner the journalists modify as well as adapt the various strategies which would suit the different types of circumstances. They majorly take into consideration the accomplishment of the rules & the principles highlighting their own personal as well as professional values & expressions. The assignment helped me to learn the fact that, the journalists will not take up decisions without taking into consideration the various conventions which would define the entire decision making and each & every decision would be unique in its own circumstances.I got to learn that a model was focused upon the overall development regarding the efficacy over the intellectual skills which would help the journalists to understand as well as critically reflects the bridge between the theory of journalism & professional practice. This model helped me to gain knowledge regarding the development of confidence, problem solving skills, self reliance & the adaptability to gain knowledge & simultaneously develop a sense of efficacy so as to negotiate the in build dilemmas (Gurevtich, 1990). This approach has helped in order to integrate the various ways which has helped in order to bind their practices with the social as well as the ethical effects. Based upon one the research I have learnt that, the thinking level of journalists is so intrinsic and hence it has been regarded as one of the most challenging tasks to explain. I also learnt that, journalists practices involve judgments which would help in order to shape up the things (Sheridan, 2002).Hence, it could be seen that the use of critical reflection as well as the fundamentals to practice have allowed the journalists to reflect, have proper access as well as understand the nature along with the hidden meanings of the words & the news writing as a whole. I also learnt that, critical reflection has become as an integral part of journalism. This has indulged them to scrutinize their own actions, exposing the entire process as well as underlie values in their work while they are performing a particular task. This aspect also made me understand that, “process orientation” would help in order to enable reliable professional decisions which would lead to a dimension of self efficacy (Gurevtich, 1990).
