Virtual reality (VR)

VR is expected to become the 4 million dollar business by the year 2020. It proves very much effective in giving immersive experience to patients. It helps in cope with pain, surgery and it proves beneficial to calm nerves of patients in emerging world. Health care industry deploys VR throughout in various sections in this industry (Mace, 2020). It helps in giving higher quality of care and efficiency to patients. It used in every sphere of Health care industry from surgical preparation to patient illness education and therapy.

Business process of VR in health care industry

In past few years, VR witnesses the usage of it for improving consumer experience in positive manner.  Business process of VR utilized in various sections such as medical education, VR in diagnostic, mental illness treatment, management of pain, physical fitness and therapy, in surgery and human simulation techniques. However, advanced data management system that help in gather information that might be confusing for doctors.

Cons

  There are some disadvantages that occurring by health care industry in giving facilities and care that are as follows:

Some disadvantages includes the malfunctioning of equipment, outages of power, lack of attention in regards of details and security breaches that affect the patients and their care in effective manner. there are some kind of technical barriers and cost is another issue and number of hazards that consisted with business operations of health care industry while adopting VR. In that regards, it is very important for an individual as well as organization to consider various aspects related with VR in order to improve consumers experience in potential manner (flat world solutions , 2020).

Before adopting the VR, it is very important for health care industry to verify business objectives, mission, cost that incurred in its adaptation. In addition to proper system of securing information as it assist in securing information.
