The MIS in the Singapore airline was in line with the needs of the management, staff and the customers thus, making usage of MIS an easy task. All the changes that were happening in the environment were noticed by the professionals in the organizations and as per the change in the environment, the MIS was also changed. The IT professionals who were handling the MIS were given continuous training regarding the things that will help them to keep themselves upgraded with the changing environment. The airline was completely dependent on the internal staff for MIS and support issues. The staffs that were using the MIS were also trained regarding the usage and the advantages that they can get if the MIS is used tactfully.
Looking at all the researches, it can be said that MIS can be a boon or a curse to the organization. Making it a curse or boon will be completely in the hands of staff and management who are using it. If the security of the MIS in the organization is weak then there are possibilities of important data getting hacked and if the security is strong then the MIS can be considered to be the best. MIS should be modified as per the changing environment so that the organization can be competitive with that of other firms in the industry.
