This change seems to be simple but at the same time creating a serious problem in the society. The negative aspects also include the factors like hacking and spying on others by the use of these technologies. The technology has made people dependent on them. People are addicted of technology, as today many people cannot stay away from their mobile phones as they have a fear of losing contact with people. People does not like gatherings and like to stay away from crowds and send time enjoying them using these digitized gadgets. With the use of the social networking sites like Face book, twitter orkut and so on, people are connected but are alone (Wire 2012). People tend to stay connected with others using these social networking sites but keep people at an emotional distance. People text or tweet several characters and words instead of picking a call over the telephone or directly communicating with other face to face. People are getting prone of the new way of being alone together. Connections with people in social sites offers forged relations in manner that creates an illusion of companionship among people without demanding any personal friendship.
People are also getting isolated even after being among the people their minds always stay on their technology or gadgets, like the use of mobile phones and playing games in it or accessing some social networking sites and not interacting with people even in the social gatherings. Digitization of the world has made the life of the people a small device using with they stay in touch with their social networks. People like to stay alone and have their privacy even at their homes and does not interact with their family and stay connected with the outside world using technologies. They does not like people around them and also like to stay isolated.
