For this changes were to be made in the Australian financial reporting practice and regulation. The conceptual framework as being developed keeping in mind the IASC was SAC 1 relates to the concept of the reporting entity; SAC 2 describes the objectives of financial reporting; SAC 3 puts forth the characteristics of financial information; and SAC 4 list the various elements of financial statements.
