My application is for a graduate degree in criminal justice because I have a passion for criminal justice. This is to further my study in the field and allow me to achieve my ultimate goal in life. Criminal justice involves a step to bring order to society. From the time I was growing up as a child, I developed an interest in the field because of the environment I grew up in. Most of the people who surrounded me back at that time, including my best uncle had ventured in the field. This combined with my ever-developing interest as I venture into the field has multiplied my passion for the study. This opportunity will see me become a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer.
I have developed my knowledge of the field over time with my continuous research in the area. My commitment to my career has led me to excel in my academics and vocational training I have attended. I have done two jobs over the last three years after graduation enhancing my experience in the field. I worked as a border patrol agent and a bailiff in those years. I have also attended some training and seminars to sharpen my skills.
Having a chance to study criminal justice would be one of my greatest life achievements. I have ever been thinking about how the spirit of administering justice to people would be my best interest. I am driven by administering justice to people and solving criminal issues. I believed having been done my bachelor’s degree in this field would enable me to advance my skills further. I need more skills in criminal justice aspects to be able to administer justice and handle criminal issues in a better way. I just need the skills on how various concepts in criminal issues are handled and various methods that should be applied when dealing with the criminal aspects. I am convinced that this school will offer me the skills that will enable advance further and have a better capacity to suit the criminal justice-related career.
I have done my studies before this successfully and achieved good grades. I did my undergraduate studies at and pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal justice and security management. I excelled in my studies and that helped me acquire enough skills to enable me to proceed further. I read books in my free time, these are usually books related to criminology and criminal justice. I also watch documentaries and movies that aid in developing my skills. I frequent court cases and accompany my uncle, who is a CIA officer, in most of his duties. I do swimming and table tennis for fun.
While studying my undergraduate degree I worked and scored good grades to ensure knowledge of the field. Added to that, my experience while working as a border patrol agent instilled in me enough skills and knowledge. I developed so well skills in dealing with criminal minds and perfected my interrogation skills. I excelled in my duties and was put in charge of many duties. Work was always done in groups and I led my group in most cases. This was majorly due to my good communication skills and leadership skills, which I had cultivated from childhood. Working in groups ensured my success. I am bound to listening to advice and following what has been directed to do. I have a sense of patient and accuracy in whatever I do. I do not believe in making the same mistake twice because I like learning from my past mistakes and avoid the same in future. I believe this is one of the major aspects that will enable me to deal with issues related to criminal justice because for justice to be administered there is a need for patience and accuracy. The mistakes are not allowed when justice is administered because this means it will compromise with the investigations offered.
While working as a border agency and a bailiff, I got enough experience in the field. Assisting my uncle and my studies and research during and after my undergraduate studies also helped further my experience. I was always placed in charge of investigations and interrogations in the company. This greatly assisted me in my studies and increased my passion. This is one of the aspects that are needed in the criminal justice field. Self-confidence is important in this field because one should believe in whatever thing is doing. Having the spirit of leadership and giving solid directions to others is a key factor that should be within whoever is willing to venture into the criminal justice field and I believe this is one of my aspects and it will help me understand and carry out various duties in this field. Given a chance, I will be one of the topnotch officers in the criminal justice field who administer fair criminal justice services accurately and precisely. This is what is in my heart and I would like to be one. Having said this, I have strongly believed that this school will offer me the best skills that will enable me to capture all the skills and concepts required to offer excellent criminal justice services to humanity. I am willing to do whatever it takes me to have a chance in this school to further my studies and accomplish my dreams in this field because I have a very strong belief that this school has a good system of education that will offer me excellent skills to pursue my dreams and handle what all issues related to the criminal justice to the humanity.
I will use this chance to help me achieve my ultimate dream and give back to society. Your institution is known for producing good qualities and also giving out scholarships.
