Some analysts argue that under the so-called ‘new terrorism’, religion has emerged as the most serious motivating factor for terrorism. Do you agree with this analysis? Give
reasons for your views.
Introduction
We all felt that religion has gone to doors and there is no placefor religion in theminds of people. We all have become business minded and people are not caring at all for the religion. If you think this then you might be wrong. People in a lot of countries are taking religion on a very serious note andthey are doing their best to ensure that we all do not make this mistake andthey let usknow from time to time as to what is religion. People are angry with the fact that people are taking religion very lightly andsome parties have also now joined hands with terrorist groups so that people are able to understand the importance of it andtake it on a very strict note.
Religion is mainly the thingsthat binds a person with God. It is this only thing that makes people understand andknow that they arethe children of God and they should only do good things so that God does them good. But now in the current technological upgraded society people have become so much busy with the schedules that they have stopped thinking about God.They only think about the money inflows and money outflowsand this is the main thing that people should take into account with good consideration. Religions should not at all be mixed with business andthey should always be kept as separate entity which is totally distinct from that of others.
It is mainly because of this that some people have started to use terrorism under the name of religion is acting as a guiding forcefor all people to motivate them to come under terrorism. One of the best examples of this is Taliban which is motivating young men to join their group under the motivation of religion. They say that people are destroying their religion and they should ensure that this should be saved at all extent. Such is the impact that people are also willing to join their groups andthis has made a very serious impact on the minds of the people.
Religion as a Motivating Factor for Terrorism
Religion is the main motivational factor for people to come under terrorism. Money does not matter to them but religion does matter. There are some people towhom religion is their topmost priority. Muslims being one such group. Forthem religion is everything andthey cannot do anything against their own religion. This is the main guiding force which is making people come under their own group and motivates the people to take stern actions against people who do not follow it. Al quada, Laskaer E toiba, Jamiyat Ul Daya are some such prominent groups which act under the hands of religions and say that it is only God who has saidto take up arms if people are not that motivational.
This has emerged as one of the serious challenges for the government and thiskind of attitude is ensuring that people are notsafe. We must ensure that this kind of nature and practice should be stopped at all costs and their should be effective and best practices that should be used sothat this is being stopped at all costs. We should not encourage spreading up of these kinds of activities at all costs because it would be then like a virus which should be spreading to all quarters andthis would be a lot problematic for the people and other citizens who are staying up in the country.
With the insights of Taliban which is very much prevalent in a lot of Asian countries we can get to know as to what all are the motivational factors that are being used by these people tomotivate them. One such thing that these people say that if you die with our group you would be receiving heaven andtheir you would be served with virgin girls. Such is the extent that people are tuned in andthis has become one of the destructive forces for a lot of youngsters who are not educated or have any sort of training at this level to believe all this. They also make sure that people and young kids are being abducted andthey are kept toall kinds of torture so that they agree upon the terms and conditions andthis makes a solid ground for them to through some light on these kinds of factors.
Religion never demands to kill people. Religion always says that people should be protecting other people be at any kind of religion that they follow. We all haveto ensure that people respect the religion and that is already happening. The religion who is not able to protect the rights of the people should not at all be called as are religion. Religion is one which helps people to earn their bread and butter andthey are able to have their lives in thebest possible way. Thus we all should respect the religion in all forms and this would ensure that there is great enthusiasm amongst the people to follow it and respect God in that terms. We all should be able to speak with one another andtheir should not be any element of doubt in any persons mind regarding religion and the ill practices some people are making us to follow. Religion is always for the people andby the people. It mainly helps people to respect their customs and traditions and this is one of the ways by which people get more closer to each other.
What is Terrorism
A lot of people understand terrorism as an activity which is being done by people who do not have civic sense andthe people who are just motivate to earn some money. But in reality this truth is just tenpercent of the actual scene that is happening. Terrorism is mainly happening in the countries because of lack of communication between the center andthe people. This is propagating people to take up this challenge of ensuring that the government listens to them andthey are able to have a very heavy impact on the people. If the trust goes from the minds ofpeoplethen it would be one of the biggest blocks that would be coming in their way. Terrorism is mainly a brutal act that is being done by the people because of lack of trust and commitment that people are having up with the political mass.
One of the best examples of this act is the brutal attack that had happened in Sri Lanka few months back. The mistrust between the Sri Lankan Government andthe people lead to the formation of a separate block named asLTTE and this lead to a battle between the people and the political mass. The result was in front of you were the people lost andthe government won the battle. This lead to innocent people being killed and women being raped up by the Sri Lankan army. This kind of brutal attack was openlycondemned by a majority of people andthis is the trust that people are having on the political people. We can openly say that the government was a terrorist in the case and this is one of the brutal attacks that have been committed in the history of Sri Lanka and Asia. This is the way terrorism spared as and more andmore people are tuned into such kinds of acts by the government and other political people.
Terrorism thus needs to be understood at great heights andthey should be taken into consideration asto what is the thing that these people want. We have to ensure that there is confidence in the minds of people andtheir should also be some confidence that peoplewould be coming to help them at the times of crisis. Yes there are people who would like to create communal in harmony andthey would be creating these kinds of problems. We have to identify these kindsof people an d make sure that they are punished at top levels so that there is trust that comes back in the minds of the common people and they start to support our efforts in thebest possible way.
Impact of Taking Religion under Terrorism
Religion and terrorism shouldnot be mixed at all costs. They would be sever destructive and it would lead to a lot of problem to the local people. Religion is a separate thingand terrorism is a separate thingandtheir should never be alink with both of them. Religion should mainly be used to have a closer look over our culture and traditional values that we are following. Their should be respect towards God andthis should be continued at all costs. Terrorism on the other hand is mainly an activity that handles both of the people and this should be kept in mind that religion cannot beat any costa be related to terrorism. Terrorism is mainly a very bad activity which is joined towards mass killing and their should be great stress that should be laid to ensure that both of these things are not at all linked to each other.
The main impact of mixing terrorism along with religion would be very devastating. It would be just as if we have unlined the nuclear bomb which would be exploding like anything having no condition andthis would be very bad impact on us. Thus wehave to conduct this activity of breaking the both of them andtheir should be enough educational activities that should be carried on the people to stop such kindsof moves. We people have to give a lot of importance that other people are not against the concept of their cultural values. We are just opposing to some of the ad thingsthat people would be doing at the due course of time. A person would be bad at times and this is the main thing that we all would be opposing at this junction. A person would be good and at times he would be bad. Hence we have to keep this point in mind to terminate the impact andmethodology of the people in the best possible way and manner.
One of the best examples ofit would be the 9/11 attacks that rocked USA. The main people who did it was Osama Bin Laden who used the concept of linking religious sentiments toblow upon the people of their tribes and making them slave to them. They ultimately paid the price by laying down their lives andthis was at all times very horrifying. The people should not be guided by such kindsof miscreants and they should be always be awareof their rights for which they are working upon. God has given us one life andwe should use this life to the best extents so that their is no sort of problem to anyone at any pint of time.It is this only thing that makes people understand andknow that they arethe children of God and they should only do good things so that God does them good. But now in the current technological upgraded society people have become so much busy with the schedules that they have stopped thinking about God.They only think about the money inflows and money outflowsand this is the main thing that people should take into account with good consideration. Religions should not at all be mixed with business andthey should always be kept a s separate entity which is totally distinct from that of others.
What Countries Should Do
Countries should first try their best to understand the nature of the case. They should have avery clear introspect as towhat would be the laying stone for these people to take up arms against us. They should have negotiations that should be happing between them and this would be very crucial at all times. Countries should try their level best to stop these people from coming inside the borders of their country. Peace should be prevalent in countries andthis is what should be topmost priority for the country people. Whenever they find that somepeople are against the country they should try their level best to pacify them andbrig thethings down but lateron they should also understand that if they are not laying down their arms what all should be done so that they lay down their weapons. Thus wehave to conduct this activity of breaking the both of them andtheir should be enough educational activities that should be carried on the people to stop such kindsof moves.
We people have to give a lot of importance that other people are not against the concept of their cultural values. We are just opposing to some if the ad thingsthat people would be doing at the due course of time. A person would be bad at times and this is the main thing that we all would be opposing at this junction. A person would be good an data times he would be bad. Hence we have to keep this point in mind to terminate the impact andmethodology of the people in the best possible way and manner. Terrorism thus needs to be understand at great heights andthey should be taken into consideration asto what is the thing that these people want. We have to ensure that there is confidence in the minds of people andtheir should also be some confidence that peoplewould be coming to help them at the times of crisis. Yes there are people who would like to createcommunal in harmony andthey would be creating these kinds of problems
Conclusion
Terrorism and religion are different aspects andthey should be understood well so that there is law and orderthat is maintained in and across the countries. Peace is what the countries want. They do not want hatred to be their amongst the people andthe rest of the society. People who take this as an opportunity to spread terrorism and mix the minds of people with hatredagainst their own countrymen should never be forgiven by their respective Gods. Religions mainly wants people to love each other andhelp each other at the timesof crisis. Some people with the intent of spreading anger are doing these kindsof activities and we should be aware of such things.
Yes, I would like to agree upon the point that new age terrorism has come upon the people asthe main motivational factor for taking up terrorism but it is up to us to bring it down to our levels. We haveto educate people that religion is never to be blamed for the activities. It is people’s perception that is to blamed for. People are good and they act as per situations and conditions andthus we haveto adjust as per conditionsand walk on the path of truth and honesty so that such kinds of situations are being avoided and peace prevails in the country.
