Introduction

This is a project to organize and carry out the painting of two rooms of a family home with the help of community service organization. This community service organization has provided to help poor families and their culture by providing them of support. The main objective of this community service is to paint two rooms of a family (Noble, 2009). This family has two children rooms and they belong to a poor family that is why the community service organization has provided to paint their rooms within a low budget. To organize the painting facility for the two rooms the community service has provided a project team leader to complete the painting and its management within the limited period including low budget. This work is done with the help of maximized efficiency of all team members including their basic criteria and tools. In addition, the main objective of this project management is to develop a new methodology and estimation of budget, which has been built from understanding the various attributes in the same project. The important content of this activity can be related to the planning structure of this project, with the help of work breakdown structure of the entire project management and their project progress.

Project scope

This project has so many different scopes, which are building on behalf of service the community organization. The main scopes’ of these projects are as follows:

  • This project has focused on the implementation of two rooms by painting them sequence wise.
  • This primary objective of this project is to develop a new plan and new methodology by designing a secured plan which would enable the organization to help the family.
  • With the help of this project, and cost estimate of maintaining budget is so little that family members will be able to carry (Powers, 2007).
  • In this project scheme, the technological advancements are implemented and are proceeded with to complete the project progress.
  • With the help of this project the service community organization will determine the necessity and importance of using project management and their effectiveness.
  • The manager of the project also deals with time management, people management and materials management to complete the entire project work. All of them have completed their individual task by managing the project planning process.
  • The main scope of this planning project management is to explain the project and it is expressed by controlling and monitoring the project activities.

Establish Project priorities

Before starting this project management of painting two children’s room, the organization must discus their facilities and their internal labor towards the family (Heerkens, 2002). As the family belongs to a poor culture, so the community service organizations have to manage the entire project within the family’s budget including new features. Most of the costs related with the paint banner and their heavily subjective effort.  The project manager will be able to verify the cost with some other project management and their relative works. These budgets have brought forward to the family members directly. This is the first step to complete the project. In addition, the project manager of this project has provided a current painting feature and their manuals towards the family members. Cost should be estimated considering some propagation like coating application, which will be used on the wall would be about 70 to 80 % labor and 20 to 30 % material. In this project, the manager of the project can note their exceptions by maintaining a note expression, in which the floor coatings can serve to be of help in determining specific files of paint application with due consideration of the component materials of the paints used. On the other hand, the manager of the project must also plan the common way for this project management. Which are provided in the following points:

  • Planning of painting of two rooms
  • Scheduling of tasks
  • Work breakdown structure including project activity
  • To monitor and control the entire project management

The main goal of this project is to give emphasis to the development and managing environment, including their priorities with the help of most important elements.  Make the master plan of this project management for emergency case, if there is any delay made by the project manager then this master plan will execute. Different types of paints are required to paint the two rooms by considering low budget (Goode, 2006).

Work breakdown structure

In the above work, as evident from the break down structure picture, conclude that the entire work has been done following to the task requirement and their management. At first, the project managers have to make the planning phase of the entire painting and their structure by which he can estimate the budget of the project (Toda, et al., 2011). Then the project manager must evaluate the duration of the entire project and their task with the help of the project phase. This project phase would provide some brief idea and the cost estimate of the entire project management. The organization has already estimated a cost to paint the two rooms which is about $500. Therefore, the family members are worried about the cost estimate and the additional costs new technologies of painting.

Responsibilities of team members

In this project management, the main responsibilities are coming from the project manager and its entire teammate. With the help of all team members, the project of painting two rooms achieved within their limited time. The time duration of this project management is maximum two weeks. Therefore, each team member of this project management must be concerned about the planning phase for this painting room. At first, the project manager of this project has to come forward to face the entire team and he must enforce all of his team members. With the help of the project duration and their phases, the entire team must divide into small project team, which can build the entire project management in a sequence order. Some responsibilities are also coming from the family members and their behavior. As the family belongs from a poor section so, the community organization would mange several plans to reduce their budget by managing some new technologies and new proposals (Foster and Laffineur, 2003). All the team members should be concerned about their responsibilities; they should control their team workflow, which will minimize the duration of the project. The team leader of this project also manages the stakeholders and defines the role of each and every stakeholders involved with the entire project. Family, neighbors, other co-workers, friends and most probably all the people are the main stakeholders in this project.

Budget estimate

  Painting Two Rooms

Products     Quantity     cost

color box     6     $250
brush     4     $50
dispenser     2     $60
Wall-potties   2     $50
ladders   2     $10

This is the entire cost estimate to paint the two rooms, and this is the most useful estimate of budget from the community service organization towards the family.  Being a project manager, he might be asking for an extra pay from the family as a form of incentive. But the project manager should remind that the family belongs to a poor background so whatever he had made for his team mate he should not charge for an extra payment. Another structure of cost might maintain during this project management. The painter should try to paint with new brush, but as it is the low budget so he must have manage to paint the rooms with the help of old brushes (Du, 2013). While the organization has made a plan to paint these two rooms then the project manager might considered the updating modeling and re-caulking, which will estimate a huge amount in this project. Some drop cloths are required in this project management to cover up the unnecessary paints from the rooms. In addition, the project manager used power tools, which will help to reduce the labor cost and the time duration of the project.

Conclusion

In this project management, the entire project has done with the help of team efforts and their team workflow, as well as their reliability. Some external interfaces are needed in this project manage to control the work efficiency. The external activities will communicate with outside environments (Cohen, 2000). This thing makes the project so costly but the community service organization has managed this problem. From the designer viewpoint this things are required to ensure this project management but the family could not enforce this requirements. Therefore, as a project leader, he should manage this situation with another same interface including average computation by which it will operate other process. The project managers have to manage the entire work by keeping all the input and out interfaces in a higher level to change the requirement phase. With the help of things, facility, the family and the organization will complete the project management successfully.
