There has also been a rise in the health care services being imparted. According to WHO, the rise in the mental health of the person is not because of the age group he/she belongs to but also due to a change in its genetics. Therefore, proper promotion regarding the preventive measures & a healthy lifestyle might lead to a decrease in the overall ageing problems (Visco, 2005). With people living for more years would lead to a rise in the overall bed ridden people. This might lead to an increase in the health problems. The health care sector has also led to an increase in the number of elderly people being taken care off (Oe, 2006).
With an increase in the ageing problem, would also affect the pension system as well as portray some burden over the new career opportunities. The wage bill is likely to shrink which would help in order to decrease the tax receipts (Fuyuno, 2007).
Therefore, it is quite clear from the discussion above that, ageing population would have a negative effect on the overall growth of the society. The various evidences mentioned above, clearly states that, with an increase in the ageing problem would affect the family structure, pattern of work at the workplace, burden of career as well as pressure upon the health care services.
