The Melbourne Story Exhibition successfully explored the life, history and environment of Australian Cultural life. The exhibition thoroughly traced back to the starting point of the history, which marks the link between the natives, .i.e. the local indigenous people and the white settlers in Australia. Thus, the established people spent more money on building more beautiful houses and spent more money, as a result of which they had to adapt a better lifestyle. Also, the exhibition focused upon the arrival of technology in the form of television, much before post-modern times, thus marking a remarkable change in the standard of living in the city of Melbourne.
