2.1  Approach towards interacting others

Being the group leader, I had always taken up the responsibility to call for regular meetings on Monday mornings in order to discuss regarding the project. Apart from the regular meetings, we all were connected through regular mails, telephone call & messages. According to my peers initially I was ranked 4.3 but now my ranking has been increased to 4.5 out of the scale of 5. Thus, my contribution towards the group has been satisfactory.

2.2  My Importance of Participation and Contribution
I used to be well prepared before the meeting & took the initiative to lead the conversation. I’ve always shown willingness towards listening others point of view & accept their ideas. My first peer group has rated me 4.8 & I consider it to be a fair score out of 5 as being the group leader I tried to lead the whole group. As a team leader, I made full efforts in order to bind the entire group together. Each & every member tried to contribute towards the group with the best of their ability. I would want each & every member to contribute with new, novel ideas, new ways to doing the things, team analysis. My first peer group gave me an average score of 4.5 but, the second peer group gave me an average score of 3.8 which is too less. I tried to motivate each & every member to contribute but, in our group Leong was least interested in providing the new ideas whereas Yang was the one who was always ready to contribute the maximum & assists team analysis.

2.4  Feeling of the Peer-Evaluations Result

Initially, when I saw that my evaluation has decreased from 4.7 – 3.9, I felt a bit upset. I contributed towards the group & tried to be an effective leader but after so many efforts my evaluation was declined. There are certain areas where I feel I should have got more marks. After the allocation of the average scores, I found that I did not act as a good leader. In my group, Zhuolun is the one who has done fairly well. He was always on time in the meetings & contributed to the success of the assignment. He was the only one who showed willingness in listening to others point of view. In spite of contributing maximum in the group, he never used to overpower the other member. Whereas, he used to lead the entire group rather than dominating them.  After Zhuolun, Leong was the one who made significant contribution in the group. He made sure that all the responsibilities instilled on him were performed on time. Xiaoqian was the one who was least interested in the discussion. Though, he was on time in the meetings but did not contribute much as compared to the other members of the group. On an overall basis all the team members contributed to the best of their ability in order to make the entire assignment a success.
